This seminar will show you the business side of music and provide you with skills and knowledge you can use to move your career forward. We will cover the legal and financial issues affecting songwriting, recording, touring, how to market yourself & your music and the range of DIY (Do It Yourself) tools available to you. You will also learn about the players who influence your success and how to interact with them. In short, this seminar will help you navigate through the land mines of the music industry.

Marketing with Social Media ~

YouTube; search engine optimization, the art of tagging a video, becoming a partner, creating a strategy. Face-book; Facebook marketing, music pages, event invites and how to gain "Likes," understanding your fan, and "champions" - who are they and what can they do for you?
